All hands on deck!
We are a volunteer based organization and we want everyone to be involved. We understand that not everyone is comfortable teaching a class but there are several behind the scenes jobs that we are needing parent volunteers to step up and fill a void. If everyone helps a little it helps a whole lot!

Ways to Volunteer!
Every classroom is equipped with a teacher but we need extra hands, feet, and eyes in the room for the convenience and safety of everyone. Room moms (or dad) will just assist the teacher in keeping control in the classroom and getting the children to and from other activities
on the premises.
Room Moms (or dads)
Door Dads (or moms)
Safety is very important to us at Dunmor homeschool co-op. That's why we have a security team made up of "door dads". Our door dads, stand guard at the exits to ensure no one enters the building that may have a hidden agenda. They also survey the perimeter to be sure everyone is safe
during outdoor activities.
Kitchen Crew
Although we do not supply meals, we still need assistance in the kitchen. Our kitchen helpers collect and distribute lunch boxes, heat leftovers, clean spills, sweep, wipe down tables and assist the children in a variety of ways. They also help to leave
the fellowship hall in the way it was
found.
Clean-Up Crew
Vaccuming and taking out the trash is an easy way to volunteer if you'd rather not be surrounded by children. Dunmor Baptist church is gracious enough to allow us to use their facility so we need to be sure we are protecting and preserving that facility anyway we can. That includes
cleanup after dismissal.
Runners
With a large group of kids, you never know what situation may arise. We need people available to jump to the occassion whatever that occassion may be. Sometimes it may be walking a student to the restroom, acting as a hall monitor, finding a bandaid, or making copies.
